Welcome Back

Well, 2019 has had a bit of a rough start. After having a wonderful holiday at home in Texas with my family, I returned to California sick (like can’t get out of bed sick). This has been on and off for the past month. However, I am finally starting to feel like myself again! I am not about to let a bad few weeks ruin this very exciting Spring/Summer coming up. This season is filled with a lot of travel and kicking it into overdrive when it comes to wedding planning! If you want the real truth about wedding planning, here it is…

Is it fun? Yes! Is it stressful? YES! I have moments when I am so excited about certain parts of the process and others where I feel like I could break down because it’s overwhelming. I feel like on social media wedding planning looks so magical, but in reality there are a ton of decisions to make and deadlines that sneak up on you. At the end of the day though, it’s a really important and fabulous time in our lives. We are getting married AND we are getting to throw a party to celebrate! I get to marry my best friend, and I can’t wait for that moment! So in those times of stress or panic (deadlines, overthinking), I take a breath and think of all the FUN we are going to have in our future. Let’s talk about this easy sweater look below. It’s been cold in SF (well, it kinda is on and off all year), and I’ve been living in sweaters. I really like that this one is fitted, has a sleeve detail AND under $50! I wore it with one of my favorite pairs of denim, red booties to make that detailed sleeve pop, my new backpack I picked up while in Paris and my go-to sunglasses. It’s a look that works for running around during the day or to the office if you have casual attire. The sweater can easily transition into evening by adding a fun fur or leather jacket.
