As you know, I’m a big fan of anything “off-the-shoulder” so it’s no surprise that I wanted to style this dress today. Not only is a dress something easy to throw on for the day, but pairing this one with over-the-knee boots really takes this look to the next level. The dress shows enough skin without being too much. This makes it perfect for any lunch date. AND the piece also transitions well into a night look with the boots (win, win? I think so). Yep, you can wear this exact look day or night. Need I say more?
Okay, I want to take a minute to highlight an investment piece I’ve styled below. I call them investment pieces because these are items in your wardrobe that are worth spending extra on (plus they will last for what seems like forever). I highly recommend investing in a good pair of over-the-knee boots like the ones below. Yes they can be on the pricey side, but trust me they’re worth every cent. This is one of those investment pieces that you can wear Fall/Winter and early Spring. Also, if you spend a little more then they will last much longer. For example, this pair will wear easily for years if you take good care of them. Stuart Weitzman continues to make the best boot as far as comfort, fashion and wearability in my opinion. I’ve been wearing the designer’s boots for years and still have every pair (all still look brand new). So scroll on down to see how to style this simple off-the-shoulder look complete with a pair of must have boots.
