The Lace-up Sweater

Let’s get personal for a minute. Honestly, this past week was not the best for me. Sometimes we go through ups and downs, and this was one of those downs. On a positive note, today I woke up and decided to focus harder on the good things going on and not worry as much about feeling down. For the first time all week I was able to feel a genuine smile on my face and it felt really good. Although I can’t control some of the things that make me sad, I can control where I focus. Do you ever find yourself feeling the same way? I highly recommend taking time to let yourself be sad, but then when it feels like enough time (you will know) start to focus on anything positive in your life. It’s crazy how a change in focus really made a huge difference for me.

Okay, now for the fun part! Let’s talk about this sweater and the hat I am obsessed with this season. This hat has been saving my hair these days. It allows me to avoid washing my hair an extra day (yay)! Yes, you read that correctly. It’s the best when you can keep your hair for a few more days before having to wash. A bonus about the Fall is being able to wear beanies and fun Fall style hats like the one below. The cabby hat trend is huge right now (you may not want to splurge), so I’ve found a great one that you can purchase for under $20. Amazing, right? Now let’s discuss this sweater. Not only am I all about the olive color, but LOVE the lace up detail on the back. So chic. I paired the sweater with my favorite pair of denim and these edgy booties that I literally put on every single day. I am so happy the Fall season has arrived because I love layers, sweaters and all of the fun coats. What’s your favorite trend this Fall?
