Let’s jump back into my trip to the Philippines. I mean, can you believe this view? Staying in a hut on the ocean felt like a dream. Seriously, these photos don’t even seem real when I look back on the trip. Closing your eyes at night because the sound of the ocean slowly lulls you to sleep is something I truly miss. The resort was small and isolated to it’s own island (I think there were 14 guests total, every room being it’s own hut). We also had the opportunity to island hop here and see some of the most beautiful parts of the world including kayaking through small caves and popping out into a small oasis with limestone walls and crystal blue water. A trip I will never forget.
Since the weather was humid, I found myself constantly going to wear my beach hat with almost everything. I could get out of the ocean or pool and throw on a hat and still feel chic. I loved how the fabric of this romper was ultra soft and easy to put on for lunch and an island cocktail that day. I belted the extra fabric to give myself a waist in the outfit and I was ready to go. A simple walk over the water (and the reef sharks below us) to enjoy yet another breathtaking view from the beach side of the island.
I would also like to wish everyone a Happy Turkey Day! This year I am thankful for so much. I am thankful for the job opportunity that led me to LA which eventually led me to San Francisco. I am also thankful for this amazing trip I took with my wonderful boyfriend (seriously the best). Most importantly, I am thankful for the backbone that is my family. They have always been there for me and believed in me. I cherish my relationships with my family members more than you’ll ever know. Thank you to my family and fabulous friends who have loved me throughout my journey this year. I love y’all so much! Okay, now it’s your turn…what are you thankful for in 2016?
