Over the weekend we decided to venture out to Santa Cruz. I have never visited this cute beach town and wanted to check out the Boardwalk. Riding roller coasters and winning prizes (yes, I love those carnival games) made me feel like a kid again. While getting ready for the day, I couldn’t figure out what to wear. I wanted to be comfortable but also look cute. I landed on this ensemble which was perfect for walking down the pier to lunch and enjoying an action packed day. A striped tee, boyfriend-cut denim, a pair of printed flats and a fun backpack did the trick. The chilly ocean breeze required me to layer, so I decided to add a simple sweater that I could tie around my waist or wear over my shoulders. This look is also great option for running around during the day to a casual dinner transition.
