it has finally arrived, austin fashion week 2011 officially kicked off on saturday at the speed and glory event presented by lincoln. the showroom was complete with appetizers from some of austin’s wonderful restaurants such as cantina laredo and an open bar thanks to tito’s vodka and more! designs by harley davidson and betsey johnson hit the runway around 9pm. what a fun night. lc rocks, an 80s cover band that used to play at frat parties during college, was there to perform some gun’s & roses hits as well. loved it. i’m looking forward to attending more events throughout the week. check out the schedule here!
