That Camo Print

If you haven’t heard, camo is back and in a big way this season. Designers such as Saint Laurent have featured the print in several styles in this year’s Spring collection (everything from studded to distressed jackets and button ups). This particular jacket was the perfect way to amp up my rocker tee and denim look. I am also loving pins, patches and buttons to add a personal touch to any denim, leather or printed jacket. Urban Outfitters has an excellent assortment of funky pins here. Added a shade of red to my lips to give the final touch and I was ready to hit the desert for another day of music in the sun. xxPhoto Feb 17-3 Photo Feb 17-4Photo Feb 17-5 Photo Feb 17-7 Photo Feb 18-3 Photo Feb 18-6 Photo Feb 18-7 Photo Feb 18-11 Photo Feb 18-12tee: Urban Outfitters, shorts: Levi’s, belt: ASOS, kicks: Golden Goose, bag: Chloe, jacket: custom by Punkie’s Place, similar here and here, pin: Urban Outfitters, glasses: Warby Parker, lips: Stila Cosmetics, necklace: similar here

The Bodysuit.

To say Coachella was a successful weekend would be an understatement. This was my first year to attend, and I had the time of my life. I mean, Guns N’ Roses headlined. Need I say more? The fact that they are back together still blows my mind. Opening with “It’s So Easy” and closing with an encore of “Paradise City,” GNR had me singing along for three hours!

Let’s pause on the music, time for the fashion. Not only is this an epic music festival, but it has also turned into one of the biggest fashion events of the year. People from all over the country meet up in the desert to show off their best bohemian looks. Enter my day one bodysuit and cut off Levi’s complete with a choker. I absolutely adore this bodysuit and highly recommend buying one in every color (it’s only $30)!! This overall outfit was spot on for the festival AND mixes well with my Summer wardrobe. Win, win!

Stay tuned for more AND don’t forget to follow me on instagram (@shannonyoachum) for day to day updates. xx

The Scarf.

While reviewing trends this Spring, not only do platforms, bodysuits and chokers come to mind, but scarves seem to really stand out. This is the easiest way to take your look from cute to chic. You can wear your go to basics and then toss on a scarf (which can be worn multiple ways). I love the way I have my scarf tied below but don’t hesitate to play around with it. You can wrap it around like a choker without having the tail hang in the front as well. Get a cute pattern or print and really focus on this accessory this season.

This post also has sentimental value to me. A new chapter has begun and I am now in San Francisco. Leaving LA was bitter sweet (don’t worry I will be back and forth since I can’t get enough of that ocean air in Santa Monica) but I am beyond grateful and excited for life in Northern California. Stay tuned for more!
