Pretty Things Gift Guide

Well, holiday season has arrived! Now is the time when we all start making our lists and checking them twice. For the next few weeks leading up to the holidays, I will be creating gift guides for all of your shopping needs (I’m here to make shopping for your loved ones easier this year). My first guide is one of my personal favorites: Pretty Things. A few years ago when I was asking my aunt what she wanted for Christmas she replied “pretty things”. I immediately thought to myself, now I like the way that sounds. From then on I have always included what I refer to as “pretty things” on my gift list. Pretty things have a wide range. They can be expensive, inexpensive, delicate or just things that make you feel pretty (or like a woman). Take a look at some of my favorite pretty things this year.

Okay, who’s ready for some inspiration? Ready, set, go! xx

The first thing that comes to mind when wearing a red leather jacket is Thriller. Yes, I am a Michael Jackson fan so the iconic jacket had to be referenced. What better way to spice up my look today then with a bold statement piece? I am also loving maxi skirts transitioning into the winter season. By wearing tights and a turtle neck sweater, you are able to take a spring piece and wear it during the colder months which is a nice perk!

While I do know the moves to the iconic 80’s music video, unfortunately I do not have a version of me doing the Thriller dance at the end of this blog post. Hope everyone is having a great week and enjoying the colder temps. xx

It’s cold outside here in Dallas, which means let’s bust out those winter coats we have all been dying to wear. You really can’t go wrong with animal print during the chilly season and leopard is always a must have. I love mixing prints as well. A plaid dress, tights, my favorite over-the-knee boots and a swing coat make a simple yet weather appropriate outfit. Top off your look with a beanie and you’re ready to face the cold (in a chic kind of way). What’s your favorite look this winter? xoIMG_3482 IMG_3484 IMG_3493
