The Canadian Tuxedo

You can’t go wrong with denim on denim. Okay, well back in the early 2000′s Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears may have gone a bit wrong in matching head to toe denim. Having noted that epic duo, I promise there is a chic way to wear the combo. I prefer to wear two different shades when pairing denim together, but you can really wear whatever you like (in this case, there aren’t too many rules).

This chambray shirt is light and easy to throw on with shorts or jeans. Accessorizing with color always does the trick. I like to take my look to the next level by adding in something unexpected (a big necklace or a bright shoe). Hope everyone is enjoying the last bit of Summer. Fall is right around the corner and that means a lot of inspiration is in our future (fashion week is almost here)! xo

That Sex and the City Moment

Fact: tutus are for ballerinas. Fact: tutus are also a chic statement piece for a night out (and not just for Carrie Bradshaw). Growing up a ballerina, it seems fitting that this trend would hit home for me. Instead of my pretty pointe shoes, I have on my fashion forward hot pink Charlotte Olympia’s #swoon. My jaw literally dropped the second these became a permanent resident in my closet. I am loving this trend because of the flirty yet fierce message it brings to the table. Hey, I am girlie but I am also a chick who takes risks. Pairing the tutu with that perfect pink lipstick and a statement collar definitely fine tuned the overall look. xo

The Perfect Texas Tee

The collaboration I have been so excited to share with you launched last week! If you haven’t heard about it yet, hold tight. Okay…are you ready?

Tori Gonzales partnered up with Tumbleweed TexStyles to design a collection that Texans will love. I am obsessed with these shirts and have a feeling you will be as well. Being a boho chic kind of girl, I cut the sleeves off mine and styled the shirt with wax coated denim to create an edgy everyday style. Okay, let’s get down to business. Where can you order? Click here!

Thank you Tori for including me in your amazing campaign. Special thanks to Mat Wulff for the stellar photos.
