Ice Skating x Lolly

Last week, I decided to test out ice skating again for the first time in a while. I was joined by some of my blogger babes to see if we could still skate! It was hilarious as we were all wobbly at first, laughing and snapping photos. It didn’t take long for Ariana and me to feel comfortable again on the ice and start to skate a little faster (she used to figure skate as a kid and was much better than any of us). It was fun having the rink to ourselves and playing around on the ice. I’d have to say this was one of my favorite photo shoots this year, plus it’s always fun doing holiday looks with your friends. Honestly, it was so fun that I would love to go back again soon (watch out Nick, that means a date night is in our future at the rink). Also, a special thanks to Union Square Ice Rink for having us! I will definitely be adding this to my calendar of things to do in the city during winter.

Now let’s talk about the outfit. Winter is one of my favorite seasons to style looks mainly because you have the opportunity to layer. I love all of the faux fur, beanies and scarves this time of year. For a morning on the ice, I thought this cropped, snow leopard coat was perfect. I paired this chic coat with a turtle neck, studded belt and the most comfortable plush pants (here). I also LOVE this beanie, complete with faux fur pom-pom. When in doubt, the answer is faux fur. Scroll on down to see some fun shots from our ice skating session and all the details to my look!

Stuck on what gifts to buy this year? Check out my “gift guide for her” here and “gifts for him” here. xx
