Beach Chic

Hawaii really was such a wonderful vacation (I wish we were still there)! On this day, I spent the morning at the beach and tried out Duke’s (a restaurant near our hotel in Maui) for lunch. OMG. The best coconut shrimp I’ve ever tasted. I loved this little spot right off the beach with open indoor/outdoor style seating. They also have some delicious cocktails on the menu. After this amazing lunch, we spent the rest of the day hopping between the beach and the pool. I snorkeled along the reef that was near our hotel as well. What a fun day. I threw on this pink and white dress for dinner that night.

Let’s talk about off-the-shoulder for a second. I am loving this trend so much for Summer, especially on a warm weather vacation. This striped dress was so easy to throw on after a day at the beach. I just added a cute necklace, some adorable sandals and my go-to hat for the trip. Honestly, if you are planning a beach trip you must go crazy with off-the-shoulder. I mean it, buy dresses and tops in this shape. Not only will you look on trend and so cute, but you won’t be dying from the humidity of the beach.

Stay tuned for so much more from my Hawaii trip! In case you missed it, check out my post on the Road to Hana here.
