The Slip Dress

This season satin has been a big hit. Whether it’s a top or a dress, the fabric adds a nice shimmer to your look. Speaking of trends, the “slip” dress is also an item to keep your eye on. The style has converted from a type of underwear into a type of dress you wear out! Shocking yet true. Now let’s talk about how to style it. I love to layer under a slip dress to give a more “styled” or finished look with a tee or crop top. I paired a short sleeve crop top under this satin slip dress, some of my favorite sneakers and a light bomber jacket for the chilly breeze. I can’t even tell you how many people complimented this outfit as well, which is always a confidence booster! I highly recommend getting a slip dress into your lineup stat as I don’t see this trend leaving anytime soon. I think it will transition nicely into Spring.
