new york fashion week day 4 (september 11, 2011)

as you all know, today was the 10th anniversary to 9/11. i would have never predicted that i would be spending this day in new york city ten years ago. in memorial of september 11, the flags throughout the city were lowered to half mast. so wonderful to see a city really standing together in remembrance. gwen stefani’s show L.A.M.B. was dedicated to the day.

headed to highline stages to get an exclusive interview with yigal azrouel during the presentation of his line CUT 25. being a surfer, he was inspired by beach looks and popping colors from the early 80’s. fell in love with the line. the best part? CUT 25 is a more affordable version.

over to one of my favorite places, milk studios for carlos campos menswear. we had no clue what we were in for. talk about eye candy overload (…you’re welcome ladies). oh and great designs too! perfectly detailed from head to shoe. even mexican belts were rocked.

lo and i were ready for a walk/run in central park. the weather was nice out, so relaxing to just chat and free our minds. we ate a delish dinner at whole foods, then off to starbucks to write away. tomorrow awaits us, let the adventures continue!

  • I like the clothing, but I’m not sure about the boot shoes or whatever you call them.
I liked the pictures of you in New York. You and I were actually there on the same day.
We had a delay in our flight from Israel so Delta put us up at the Renaissance on the Mediterranean Beach. It was really beautiful. Then when we got to New York it was too late to make our connections to Atlanta so they put us in the Doubletree (Hilton) Saturday night. We finally arrived home late Sunday. Israel was awesome! Happy Birthday coming up soon.
